Pit Bulls Singled Out as Vicious Breed

According to recent reports printed in the Toledo Blade, Lucas County Dog Warden Tom Skeldon said he plans to ask the county commissioners for permission to appreach city council about enacting a mandatory spay/neuter law for pit bulls.

At the present time Toledo law prohibits owners from owning more than one pit bull and also mandates that the dogs be muzzled or otherwise confined when off their home property. In addition, owners are required to have special liability insurance.
